38pt Cotton Letterpress Card Printing
Ultra thick 38pt cotton letterpress cards from Clubcard Palm Springs are produced for brands that prioritize craftsmanship and material quality. These cards combine traditional printing methods with a refined, modern aesthetic focused on restraint and detail.
Letterpress printing presses artwork directly into soft cotton paper, forming a dimensional surface where typography and design become physically embedded in the stock. On 38pt cotton, the result is deeper and more defined, giving each card a strong visual and tactile presence.
We produce 38pt cotton letterpress cards for business cards, postcards, invitations, and hang tags in a range of sizes and formats. The bright white cotton stock has a dense, velvety feel that is significantly thicker than standard papers, allowing for a bold impression that stands out through both weight and texture.
Pantone Color Precision
Each project is printed using one or two Pantone spot colors to ensure accurate color reproduction and consistency throughout the run. Whether using soft neutral tones or strong brand colors, Pantone inks provide clarity and control.
On cotton paper, ink settles into a soft matte finish that complements the depth of letterpress. This interaction between ink and paper creates a refined visual effect that feels subtle and considered.
*please note we do offer floods / full ink coverage on letterpress cards.
Luxury Finishing Options
Enhance your letterpress cards with premium finishing techniques that add dimension and distinction:
- Foil stamping introduces metallic accents for a polished and eye catching result
- Blind debossing creates a subtle impression without ink for a clean and understated look
- Painted edges add bold color to the sides of the card for additional visual impact
- Gilded edges apply metallic foil to the edges for a high end finish
- Die cutting allows for custom shapes tailored to your design
These options can be combined with letterpress printing to produce fully custom cards with a high level of detail and craftsmanship.
Ultra Thick Cotton Stock
The 38pt cotton stock defines the character of these cards. Its substantial thickness and soft fibre composition allow for a deep and controlled impression that enhances fine typography and detailed artwork.
This weight gives the card a strong physical presence while maintaining structural integrity over time. It feels solid in hand and retains both its shape and its pressed detail through repeated use.
Applications for Premium Print
38pt cotton letterpress cards are ideal for business cards, postcards, invitations, and hang tags where material quality and presentation are critical. They are widely chosen by designers, luxury brands, creative professionals, photographers, consultants, and boutique retailers seeking elevated print materials.
Whether used for branding, marketing, or product presentation, these cards offer a balance of tactile richness and precise execution grounded in traditional printmaking.
