This truly sustainable card stock is made without chlorines or bleaches and has natural white hue with random visible strands of hemp fibers visible. Hemp greeting cards are printed fast in full color on an HP Indigo printing press to ensure high quality and consistent reproduction of your artwork, including when you reorder and reprint your greeting cards. 

Custom size greeting cards are available: please select the next largest size listed online that will fit your trim size. Supply your files at your custom trim size and be sure to indicate the size in your order notes. 

How Small Can Text Be On 18pt Hemp Cards?

The minimum recommended text size is 6pt. With any small text, if grey use a Black Ink Only version; if Black, use 100% K.

Can I Use Thin Lines On Indigo Printed Cards?

Anything thinner than a hairline stroke (0.25") - even at 100% K may look choppy when printed due to Indigo print resolution.

Is Indigo Resolution Different From Offset?

There is a screen to the Indigo print which customers should be aware of if they're comparing to traditional offset printing.

Should You Use Rich Black On Indigo Cards?

Don't use rich black on Indigo printing. 100% K will be just fine.

Can I Round Corners On Indigo Cards With Heavy Coverage?

Heavy ink coverage can be problematic. When the cards rub together, the ink can rub off. This can be an issue for corner rounding, so we generally advise clients with heavy coverage not to round corners.

Can I Write On 18pt Hemp Cards?

Hemp cards are ideal for writing on because they are uncoated. This is a perfect option when you need to write on your cards. Ask us for samples to give it a try yourself!

Can Greys Can Shift?

CMYK Process colors in the grey range and de-saturated images can shift in color throughout the print run and may cause the greys to appear either cooler or warmer. For a neutral grey, we recommend converting all grey values and de-saturated images to true greyscale consisting of K (black) only values.

Is there color variation on solid blue?

Depending on the color value, you may experience color variation in solid fills of blue. For great blue results we recommend a 30% difference between your Cyan and Magenta levels to ensure a nice rich dark blue, rather than purple.

Proofing Will Delay Production Timelines

Orders with proofs will not begin print production until the proof is approved. If you are ordering rush printing and printed proofs the proof printing cannot be rushed.

PDF Layout Proofs: PDF layout proofs will be sent within 1 business day, rush orders will be given priority and sent asap during business hours. If file adjustments are required after the proof is sent the turnaround time is based on the time of final proof approval.

Printed Proofs | Photos of Proofs | Mailed Proofs: Printed proofs and photos of printed proofs require up to 4 business days to produce and cannot be rushed. If file adjustments are required after the proof is sent the turnaround time is based on the time of final proof approval.
