Print recycled postcards on this uncoated 15 point cardstock and make a solid choice for quality and the environment. Your postcards are printed on 100% post-consumer content uncoated card stock using paper fibers collected from the recycling flow, safely de-inked and made into high quality paper.
While many shops offer recycled papers, Clubcard Printing offers this stock as it does not include first cut tree fibers.
15pt uncoated postcards are printed on the Hewlett Packard Indigo Press, which uses a hybridized digital and offset printing system, making this a solid choice for postcard projects that require high color fidelity and consistency on reprints.
Because this is an uncoated stock you can write on your postcards without the risk of ink smudging, you can even use pencils and markers on this stock!
Don't delay, order recycled postcards today!
Heavy Coverage? Think Twice
Heavy ink coverage can be problematic. When the cards rub together, the ink can rub off. Heavy coverage makes this more apparent. This can also be an issue for corner rounding, so we generally advise clients with heavy coverage not to round corners.
Small Fonts Aren't Good
The minimum recommended text size is 6pt. With any small text, if grey use a black ink only version; if Black, use 100% K.
Thin Lines Aren't Good
Anything thinner than a hairline stroke (0.25") - even at 100% K may look choppy when printed due to Indigo print resolution.
Indigo Resolution Is Different Than Offset
There is a screen to the Indigo print which customers should be aware of if they're comparing to traditional offset printing.
Minimum Line Thickness Of 0.5pt
Try to keep all line weights for graphics over 0.5pt. Anything under that can break up in the texture of the stipple.
For Small Elements, Simple Color Builds Are Better
When working with small elements like lines or text, a simpler color build is best to avoid misregistration. For example, 0/0/0/90 is a much better build than 20/20/20/40.
