Print rack cards on 20pt thick soft touch laminated card stock evoking a sense of luxury and a unique tactile sensory experience. Rack cards are trimmed to 4" x 9" or 4.25" x 11" as well as custom sizes to match your design.


This thick yet velvety soft stock is stiff and sturdy so it holds up in card display racks and repeated use.

 

Your cards are printed in full color on a Hewlett Packard Indigo printing press using the most advanced technology to achieve color consistency and accuracy on reprints making this a great choice for brand color continuity on multiple card orders


Custom Size Rack Cards are available : Order the size that will fit your artwork and Supply your files at the final trim size. Be sure to indicate the actual trim size in your order notes.

Proofs Do Not Include Lamination

Because of the additional step required, printed proofs do not include lamination.

Does Lamination Dull The Colors?

Like any lamination, soft touch lamination will dull or mute the colors when applied.

Does Lamination Help Protect The Cards?

Soft touch will be more durable and protect the ink from rubbing off especially with heavy coverage.

Can I Use Small Fonts On Soft Touch Cards?

The minimum recommended text size is 6pt. With any small text, if grey use a black ink only version; if black, use 100% K.

Can I Use Thin Lines On Soft Touch Cards?

Anything thinner than a hairline stroke (0.25") - even at 100% K may look choppy when printed due to Indigo print resolution.

Is Indigo Resolution Different From Offset?

There is a screen to the Indigo print which customers should be aware of if they're comparing to traditional offset printing.

Should You Use Rich Black On Indigo Cards?

Don't use rich black on Indigo printing. 100% K will be just fine.

What Is The Difference Between Soft Touch and Silk Lamination Cards?

Soft Touch Lamination is different than our Silk Lamination, it feels very similar to a peach. If you are unsure, ask us for some free samples.

Can I Write On Soft Touch Cards?

Coated cards aren't ideal for writing on. If this is a big deal, check out our uncoated card stock options.

Can Greys Can Shift?

CMYK Process colors in the grey range and de-saturated images can shift in color throughout the print run and may cause the greys to appear either cooler or warmer. For a neutral grey, we recommend converting all grey values and de-saturated images to true greyscale consisting of K (black) only values.

Is there color variation on solid blue?

Depending on the color value, you may experience color variation in solid fills of blue colour. For great blue results we recommend a 30% difference between your Cyan and Magenta levels to ensure a nice rich dark blue, rather than purple.

Technical Specifications + Templates

Bleeds: all files must have a 1/8" bleed on each side
Live Area: keep all critical text and artwork 1/8" inside the trim
Colors: supply your files in CMYK color (Pantone/RGB colors will be converted or rejected)
Resolution: 300 dpi minimum (400 dpi preferred)
Fonts: fonts must converted to curves/outlines (we do not accept fonts).
Transparencies: flatten all transparencies
