Rack card printing on 100% recycled 15 point uncoated card stock is a fast and affordable way to get top quality and environmentally sound printing. This thick and sturdy stock is made with 100% post-consumer content, meaning the paper fibers are collected from the recycling flow with no new trees required.
These recycled rack cards are printed as fast as the same day in vibrant full color on bright white card stock that has a smooth uncoated surface making it easy to write on with a pencil, pen or marker without annoying smudges.
Custom Size Cards are available: please select the nearest size that will fit your card size. Supply your files at your custom trim size and be sure to indicate the size in your order notes.
Heavy Coverage? Think Twice
Heavy ink coverage can be problematic. When the cards rub together, the ink can rub off. Heavy coverage makes this more apparent. This can also be an issue for corner rounding, so we generally advise clients with heavy coverage not to round corners.
Small Fonts Aren't Good
The minimum recommended text size is 6pt. With any small text, if grey use a black ink only version; if Black, use 100% K.
Thin Lines Aren't Good
Anything thinner than a hairline stroke (0.25") - even at 100% K may look choppy when printed due to Indigo print resolution.
Indigo Resolution Is Different Than Offset
There is a screen to the Indigo print which customers should be aware of if they're comparing to traditional offset printing.
Minimum Line Thickness Of 0.5pt
Try to keep all line weights for graphics over 0.5pt. Anything under that can break up in the texture of the stipple.
For Small Elements, Simple Color Builds Are Better
When working with small elements like lines or text, a simpler color build is best to avoid misregistration. For example, 0/0/0/90 is a much better build than 20/20/20/40.
Proofing Will Delay Production Timelines
Orders with proofs will not begin print production until the proof is approved. If you are ordering rush printing and printed proofs the proof printing cannot be rushed.
PDF Layout Proofs: PDF layout proofs will be sent within 1 business day, rush orders will be given priority and sent asap during business hours. If file adjustments are required after the proof is sent the turnaround time is based on the time of final proof approval.
