Print business cards on our tree free printing option and you will save trees and turn your friends green with envy! Our tree free cards are printed on a 100% post consumer waste content, uncoated 15 point card stock.
You don't have to love patchouli to appreciate that post consumer card stock is made from paper fibers collected from the recycling flow, safely de-inked and made into high quality paper. While many shops offer recycled papers these always include fibers from first cut trees. At Clubcard Printing our tree free stock is 100% post consumer waste and that means zero trees are cut down to make your cards.
Your 15pt uncoated business cards are printed in full color on the Indigo offset press on a small press sheet making this a sure choice for projects that demand color consistency not well suited for our club run offset printing options. And because this 15pt card stock is truly uncoated, you can write a note or appointment time on your business cards with a pen or pencil without the risk of it smudging.
Be warned that one day the tree you save may reach out and hug you.
Heavy Coverage? Think Twice
Heavy ink coverage can be problematic. When the cards rub together, the ink can rub off. Heavy coverage makes this more apparent. This can also be an issue for corner rounding, so we generally advise clients with heavy coverage not to round corners.
Small Fonts Aren't Good
The minimum recommended text size is 6pt. With any small text, if grey use a black ink only version; if Black, use 100% K.
Thin Lines Aren't Good
Anything thinner than a hairline stroke (0.25") - even at 100% K may look choppy when printed due to Indigo print resolution.
Indigo Resolution Is Different Than Offset
There is a screen to the Indigo print which customers should be aware of if they're comparing to traditional offset printing.
Minimum Line Thickness Of 0.5pt
Try to keep all line weights for graphics over 0.5pt. Anything under that can break up in the texture of the stipple.
For Small Elements, Simple Color Builds Are Better
When working with small elements like lines or text, a simpler color build is best to avoid misregistration. For example, 0/0/0/90 is a much better build than 20/20/20/40.
