Print large size cards on this recycled 15pt uncoated card stock when you want to make a responsible and green printing choice. Large cards can be printed in sizes ranging from 6" x 8" to 8.5" x 11", as well as in custom sizes.
This thick uncoated card stock is made from paper fibers that have already been used, collected in the recycling flow and made into high-quality stock. This means no new trees are cut down to make your rack cards.
Clubcard prints your recycled 15pt uncoated large cards in stunning full color on a Hewlett Packard indigo press which, paired with this smooth bright white stock, provides excellent color fidelity and consistency on multiple rack card orders and future reprints.
When you want large and oversize cards printed on 100% recycled card stock, these 15 point uncoated cards are a rock solid choice.
Custom Size Large Cards are available: please select the next largest size you can see online that will fit your trim size. Supply your files at your trim size and be sure to indicate that trim size in your order notes.
Heavy Coverage? Think Twice
Heavy ink coverage can be problematic. When the cards rub together, the ink can rub off. Heavy coverage makes this more apparent. This can also be an issue for corner rounding, so we generally advise clients with heavy coverage not to round corners.
Small Fonts Aren't Good
The minimum recommended text size is 6pt. With any small text, if grey use a black ink only version; if Black, use 100% K.
Thin Lines Aren't Good
Anything thinner than a hairline stroke (0.25") - even at 100% K may look choppy when printed due to Indigo print resolution.
Indigo Resolution Is Different Than Offset
There is a screen to the Indigo print which customers should be aware of if they're comparing to traditional offset printing.
Minimum Line Thickness Of 0.5pt
Try to keep all line weights for graphics over 0.5pt. Anything under that can break up in the texture of the stipple.
For Small Elements, Simple Color Builds Are Better
When working with small elements like lines or text, a simpler color build is best to avoid misregistration. For example, 0/0/0/90 is a much better build than 20/20/20/40.
