Prints large sized cards on 22pt uncoated smooth matte card stock in a range of range of sizes. When it's important that your cards have enough substance to hold up and not flop over like a handful of wet noodles, this extra-thick 22 point uncoated card stock looks great and is up to the task.
To provide you with outstanding color consistency and beautiful image reproduction, your large cards are printed on a state of the art Hewlett Packard Indigo printing press which utilizes a hybrid mix of the best of offset and digital printing technology to ensure your art prints perfectly every time.
Whatever design you have created, you can trust Clubcard to bring over a quarter century of print expertise and knowledge to the table ensuring your cards look amazing!
Custom Size Cards are available: please select the next largest size you can see online that will fit your trim size. Supply your files at your trim size and be sure to indicate that trim size in your order notes.
Heavy Coverage? Think Twice
Heavy ink coverage can be problematic. When the cards rub together, the ink can rub off. Heavy coverage makes this more apparent. This can also be an issue for corner rounding, so we generally advise clients with heavy coverage not to round corners.
Small Fonts Aren't Good
The minimum recommended text size is 6pt. With any small text, if grey use a black ink only version; if black, use 100% K.
Thin Lines Aren't Good
Anything thinner than a hairline stroke (0.25") - even at 100% K may look choppy when printed due to Indigo print resolution.
Indigo Resolution Is Different Than Offset
There is a screen to the Indigo print which customers should be aware of if they're comparing to traditional offset printing.
Minimum Line Thickness Of 0.5pt
Try to keep all line weights for graphics over 0.5pt. Anything under that can break up in the texture of the stipple.
For Small Elements, Simple Color Builds Are Better
When working with small elements like lines or text, a simpler color build is best to avoid misregistration. For example, 0/0/0/90 is a much better build than 20/20/20/40.
